Withdrawal from Class and Refund of Tuition

Overview

Any tuition retained by the Studio in accordance with this policy is not a penalty and will be held as non transferable account credit, redeemable for future Studio classes for which the student qualifies, within the stated credit period. In the event the Studio postpones a class start date or cancels a class, students will have the option to transfer their full tuition to a future Studio class or receive a full refund of all tuition and fees paid.

In the event the Studio chooses to dismiss a student for cause, any refund of tuition will be prorated based on classes attended.

Class tuition secures a student’s place in a class, not attendance.

Refunds

All withdrawals and refund requests must be submitted to Our Contact Form or emailed directly to infocusacting.studio@gmail.com . Refunds are calculated based solely on the date the Studio receives written notice of withdrawal, regardless of the last class attended. If only a partial tuition payment has been made, refunds are calculated based on the full class tuition or the applicable monthly installment.

In cases of student initiated withdrawal, a non refundable $75 registration processing fee applies. Any bank or transaction fees incurred will be deducted from the refund amount. We process refunds within 10 business days.

Digital products

Any paid digital product (a paid workbook, a recorded course, etc.) is refundable within 14 days of purchase if you have not downloaded or accessed it. Once downloaded or accessed, it is non-refundable. Free PDF downloads are not paid products and are not covered by this policy.

Your statutory rights in Australia

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). Where local law gives you stronger protection than this policy, local law applies. If a dispute is not resolved through our internal process, you can escalate to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) (https://www.accc.gov.au).
